grypy świń

I will not be getting the swine vaccine. The swine kills few people in the relative scheme of things. It causes an illness, which in few cases is extreme. Personally, I don't fear getting sick, in fact I enjoy it because it means I don't have to go to school and can instead just sit at home and game it up. In my opinion, the only reason I could see people getting the flu shot, is if they dislike being sick. If you get the shot because you think it is going to kill you then I think you are overreacting.

  1. There's also the consideration that getting vaccinated can also prevent the flu from spreading. Even if you don't see a personal benefit from it, is it worth doing for the benefit it provides for others? We'll consider ethics later in the course, but it's a good question to consider.

  2. I agree with your thought process paths.
Getting sick=meh. Staying home=awesome. Dying=Not cool. Chances of getting sick are slim, seeing as I've not gotten sick yet, therefore chances of dying are slim, seeing as I've not gotten sick. Oooh.

But ye, not getting the vaccine either.
