Witaj blogu! Dawno się nie widzieliśmy!

Someone said that an object that is seen and used everyday is an ordinary object and is therefore not art. Well. So if an object is an "ordinary" object it is not art. What makes an object ordinary? Who decides what is ordinary and what is not? Is it because YOU see it everyday? Well I can assure you that you do not see a mouse everyday, or a nuclear reactor. Yet you would say those are ordinary things. So because you don't see 'David' everyday, you view it as un-ordinary and therefore art. But there are many other people that see 'David' everyday. Hundreds of people a day see the statue. So according to your previous logic, it is ordinary. Yet you say its not. Ordianry should not be used when describing art. And it should most certainly not be used be defining art. People are getting those two words mixed up, describing and defining. Describing is opinion. Defining is fact. You can not use your opinion and state it as fact. My opinion is all people chew too loud, but the fact is I am just easily annoyed by the sound. They are chewing normal.
